NOTICE[2696]: chan_dahdi.c:12549 pri_dchannel: PRI got event: HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel of span 1

Solution:

#vi /etc/dahdi/system.conf

remove crc4 from the line saying

span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4

and done. The error will not be shown again

    crc4 is removed but i still get error lines below:

    [Jun 30 09:33:47] NOTICE[2713] chan_dahdi.c: PRI got event: Alarm (4) on D-channel of span 1
    [Jun 30 09:33:47] NOTICE[2714] chan_dahdi.c: PRI got event: Alarm (4) on D-channel of span 2
    [Jun 30 09:33:47] WARNING[2717] chan_dahdi.c: Detected alarm on channel 1: Yellow Alarm
    [Jun 30 09:33:47] WARNING[2717] chan_dahdi.c: Detected alarm on channel 2: Yellow Alarm…..
    and then the link goes down and back up in few seconds. but while the link is connected to Digium gateway, i need to reboot the gateway so for the link to function back again.

    while crc4 was enabled i facing lots of HDLC Abort 6 error on regular bases, but now only few and randomly and as explained above.

    we have tried your method and checked in our system.conf but there was no crc4 enabled can you suggest us in fixing the issue
